About me
Angie McMurry has dedicated over two decades to advancing STEM education in Ohio and beyond. She earned her degrees in Biology, Environmental Science, and Education from Ohio Northern University and holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Dayton. Angie’s extensive career experience includes teaching numerous science and STEM-based subjects at nearly all levels of education, as well as serving as the Science Curriculum Coordinator for the Darke County Educational Service Center. Prior to joining the OLS team, Angie was the Director of Programs for the Ohio Academy of Science. Her leadership experience is highlighted by her tenure as President of the Science Education Council of Ohio (SECO) and her recent service on the Board of Directors of the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA). Angie is also dedicated to her local community and serves as an elected member of the Tipp City Schools’ Board of Education. Angie resides in Tipp City with her husband, Glen, and their three children.
