About me
My name is Daniell Cossey. I am the STEM teacher at Westbrooke village elementary school. I have taught math and science in Trotwood Madison City schools for 9 years. Before coming to Ohio I taught in Shreveport, LA for 4 years, and Monroe, LA for 4 years, where I taught all subjects. I grew up in Bossier, LA. I want to provide my students with the best teacher possible. I have challenged myself to keep up professionally. I have participated in the National Science Teacher Association cohort to bring trade books into the science classroom. I have received a National STEM certification from The National Institute for STEM Education. I am currently working on The LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) to better serve my students that have reading difficulties. I have presented this year at the Student Achievement fair in Columbus OH. I have recently been showcased in the Dayton Daily News and Spectrum New 2 for my work with the Green Bronx Program.
