About me
Liz Jackson is Managing Director of the Krenicki Center for Business Analytics and Machine Learning at Purdue University. In this role, Liz supports the development of an ecosystem where industry partners, faculty, and students mutually benefit through collaboration. She drives strategic initiatives that align with the Center's mission to enhance research and disseminate state-of-the-art analytical techniques and information technologies. Previously, Liz served as the Associate Director of Industry Partnerships at Butler University. There, she advanced industry and community partnerships to expand the university’s portfolio of non-credit programs, pathways, and credentials. She led the industry partnerships team to achieve high-impact results by cultivating partnerships that drove successful employer and career outcomes, positioning Butler as a leader in industry solutions. Before her tenure at Butler, Liz was the Associate Director at the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, where she developed partnership programs for numerous national and global organizations, including Teach for America, UNICEF, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and United Way Worldwide. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director at the Montessori Garden Academy, where her leadership resulted in historic growth in enrollment and partnership engagement. Liz began her career in youth social services, specializing in wraparound support for children with behavioral health needs. She holds a Master of Public Affairs degree in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University, a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Public University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Butler University. When not working, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, practicing taekwondo, hiking, and running. She is also dedicated to volunteering as an advisor, fundraiser, and educator for various community organizations.
